Beck

Robert Beck

Dr. Beck is a board certified Radiation Oncologist. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, then earned his medical degree from the University of Utah Medical School. He performed an extra research year at the Huntsman Cancer Institute studying cancer genetics. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of Kentucky. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he was selected as Chief Resident.

He has published or presented research on many different types of cancer. He is always fascinated with the latest cancer research and is trained in the latest technological advances in radiation therapy. Yet his real passion is caring for and treating each patient individually. He enjoys meeting patients from all backgrounds. He is fluent in English and French and has some Spanish proficiency.

He has experience in many different radiation treatment techniques and technologies including 3D conformal radiation, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), Gamma Knife and linear accelerator radiosurgery, proton therapy, and brachytherapy. In his free time, Dr. Beck loves hiking and spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
